Beliefs

Our Belief

Our foundation rests firmly on the timeless truths of God’s Word. We embrace the transformative power of faith, understanding that our beliefs shape not only our worship but every aspect of our daily lives.

Our commitment to Scripture guides us in creating a community where everyone can experience God’s love and grow in their spiritual journey.

Spirit-Filled Worship

The Embassy Church of God.  Join us for a Spirit-led worship services. Worship often includes expressive singing, clapping, and the use of musical instruments. Congregants believe in worship as a direct connection with God, seeking to experience the presence of the Holy Spirit. This passionate and joyful atmosphere allows individuals to engage fully, promoting a deep sense of connection with God and community, and encouraging participants to worship with their whole heart, soul, and spirit.

Emphasis on the Bible (God's Word)

Our Church places a strong emphasis on the Bible as the inspired and authoritative Word of God. Preaching is central to their services, with pastors teaching practical, faith-filled messages grounded in Scripture. We believe the Bible contains the truth for salvation, guidance, and everyday living. They encourage personal Bible study, prayerful reading, and application of Scripture in daily life. The church often highlights Biblical examples of the Holy Spirit’s power, such as the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2, as foundational to their beliefs and practices, focusing on a life fully aligned with God’s Word and promises.

Focus on Missions and Evangelism

A defining characteristic of our church is the passion for missions and evangelism. Our families actively fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) by spreading the gospel locally and globally. Whether through missionary work, church planting, or outreach events, they are committed to sharing the message of salvation and the transformative power of Jesus Christ. This congregations often support missionaries, provide resources for communities, and emphasize personal evangelism, encouraging members to share their faith. They believe the Holy Spirit empowers believers to boldly witness and make disciples, impacting lives and communities for God’s kingdom.

Commitment to Prayer

Prayer is a cornerstone of our faith and practice, reflecting a deep reliance on God. Pentecostal churches prioritize both individual and corporate prayer, often hosting prayer meetings, intercessory sessions, and fasting periods. Believers view prayer as a means of communicating with God, seeking guidance, and experiencing spiritual breakthrough. We emphasize fervent, Spirit-filled prayer that invites the Holy Spirit’s power to heal, deliver, and transform lives. Prayer is also central to their expectation of miracles, such as healing and divine provision, creating an atmosphere where faith is strengthened, and believers grow closer to God through persistent, heartfelt prayer.

Emphasis on Spiritual Gifts

Our church strongly emphasize the operation of spiritual gifts as described in 1 Corinthians 12. These gifts—such as speaking in tongues, prophecy, healing, and discernment—are seen as evidence of the Holy Spirit working among believers. Pentecostals believe these gifts are still active today and essential for empowering the church to fulfill its mission. The baptism of the Holy Spirit, often accompanied by speaking in tongues, is viewed as a significant spiritual experience. This emphasis fosters a sense of expectation and openness to the supernatural, equipping believers to serve, encourage one another, and demonstrate God’s power in the world.
